Happiness. It's relative.

The bee creeped down the inside of the glass toward the pool of iced tea and then flew off when she waved the black napkin in the air. We wondered out loud what happens if one kills a bee. Do bees from throughout the city come for revenge?
Consequences are often so unpredictable.
The conversation turned to the surly service including the warning that if the bees made us uncomfortable, there would be no refuge inside the restaurant, no recourse for our miscalculation. She considered this harsh, unfriendly.
She sipped her tea slowly, the ice melting from the bee’s breath.

What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.

Ooh! I like this!
