Happiness. It's relative.

It’s a few years back but I remember this swim like it was yesterday. The suit – not so much.

What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.

Now I know my daughter is not the only one!😊 She would jump in just about any water, any hot day.
Good for her!
Maybe it’s WI girls! Just read the rest. Crazy, I don’t know what focus group you did but reminds me of working as a home visitor for Early Head Start and with being in Green Bay, it seems like such a small world! Love the pact by the way, sounds invigorating and fun!
So a nurse wants to know what happens to the hole in your head in the pool? I would have guessed that swimming was banned when one had wires coming in and out of one’s brain. Excuse the ignorance
Well, even though a lot of people think so, I don’t actually have a hole in my head. 🙂 My receiver (over my ear) is connected to a magnet that meets up with a magnet inside my head to which the wires with the electrodes are connected. I don’t wear my receiver when I am swimming although I have an aqua attachment that would allow me to do that but it’s a giant hassle to do. Plus sometimes it’s nice to be deaf.
ahhh I thought there actually a connection… I learned something today!
