Happiness. It's relative.
He’s Here and He’s Big
This is some dog. He’s like a weightlifter shape shifted into a dog.
Lordy.
Big brown power feet. Fur like a bear’s, thick and long, gold and brown. And the fiercest, smiling face.
Tail constantly wagging.
Afraid of the cat. Glad to see Tempest, his old racing partner.
Durant. Age 10. Completed four Iditarods – that’s a 1,000 miles x 4. Tough customer, this one.
He licked my face. Day one.
