Happiness. It's relative.

“The mailman left a sock in the mailbox.” Bernie threw the mail on the table – three store flyers, a political ad, and a white sock.
Harriett rifled through the mail, then held up the sock with two fingers. “At least it’s clean.”
“Do you think it was his own sock or did he find it?” Bernie wondered about this and the other things the mailman had left – a woman’s belt, a Stephen King book, and a license plate left leaning on the railing because it was too big for the mailbox.
“It’s the kind he wears. I’ve watched him walking.”

What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.

Love this! How about another 100? and another?
I love how your brain comes up with these small tidbits into life…
We really like our mailman but he’s never left us a sock. Or much else except bills and ads. 🙂
