Happiness. It's relative.

“Did you order live crickets?”
“No. Good Lord, why would I order live crickets?”
“Well, Door Dash just delivered a box full of live crickets. I can see them through the little holes and hear them make that cricket sound.”
“Well, what are we going to do with live crickets?”
“We could set them free.”
“It’s winter.”
He set the box down on the dining room table. Then the man and his partner sat in the dining room chairs amidst his mother’s fine China which they’d just washed and dried. It was silent except for their sighs and the chirping.

What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.
