Happiness. It's relative.
Hello.

I am Swirl.
Today, I tried to eat a tampon. I found it in a box with a lot of other tampons. I didn’t eat it whole. I peeled it. There was the paper on the outside. And then harder paper, like bark. And then in the middle was like a dry marshmallow. It was a thing that used to be fluffy, I think. The lady pulled it out of my mouth by the string.
Before that, I ate at the dog park.

There are a lot of trees there. I like to eat them. Not whole trees. Just pointy branches that are real crunchy. The park we go to has a lot of branches to eat. And also sticks and bark on the ground. Sometimes I find a tennis ball and I try to eat that but wood tastes better. There are different kinds of wood but tennis balls are all the same.

Where I used to live I would eat my house.

Absolutely funny and uplifting through you sly humor and the incredibly cute pictures of Swirl. I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t love that dog.
He is the best dog – so unfailingly sweet and so ridiculously handsome. Say, is there any chance you would critique a short story of mine? You always zeroed in on the key issues in a piece and I’d really benefit from your eye on this story. Anyway, if you would possibly have time, email me at jwilberg@wi.rr.com. I would owe you a big favor! Thanks.
OMG. Imagine if he had swallowed it whole and then drank water and it had swollen up in his stomach! So glad you retrieved it in time. What a beautiful dog. How did he get his name? Loved this post.
Oh, my…Swirl is at it again?!
