Happiness. It's relative.

Today, I was reminded that probably the most valuable thing you can do as a friend or a helper is to unload the dishwasher.

What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.

I agree with Ellen – that I love when people tidy up by putting some of the obvious things into the dishwasher, like plates and mugs and flatware. I prefer to unload so I know where things are the next day. 🙂
yes, people can be very fussy about how to load one, but are happy to let most anyone unload in any style )
Loading is the mucky bit. At the end of an elegant meal, bloated, exhausted and limp; from the planning, executing and finally the over eating. Clearing the table is the last thing you relish. A thoughtful guest takes charge while you sip port and smile. I would love that person a little more as each dish slotted into its rack. I nonetheless enjoy the haphazardness of the crockery in the photograph. 😊
Amen!!! I hate unloading the dishwasher.
Hey – thank you for sending the magazine! I really appreciate it.
Oh good. Glad it reached you, Jan.
