Happiness. It's relative.

The well is never dry, you just need a longer rope or a bigger bucket or the patience to wait for it to rain because there is water everywhere, that’s what practiced writers will tell you, water in your pockets, in the glove compartment of your car, in the teapot you washed and put away last year, drops everywhere if you look for them and not decide that the world is dry and you are finished as a writer because you’ve already said all there is to say, the water is always waiting for you somewhere, masquerading as words aching to be used by someone who cares about them.

And sometimes we hit a dry spell nonetheless!
I love the metaphor you used to make your point.
