Happiness. It's relative.
There were the two of us and then the three of us and then the five of us.
And then there was a man at the beach who found a sand dollar and gave it to us.
I carried the sand dollar in my hand back down the beach to the car and put it on the dashboard for safekeeping. That’s where it is right now.
I kept a sand dollar for many years to remind me of a particular time with a particular man with a particular beach. Thanks for sharing yours.
I’ve looked for sand dollars forever and finally found a tiny one a couple of years ago. My oldest grandson literally stepped onto a beach his first time and found a perfect one.
