Advent 21: The Night before Hanukkah

I have to buy eight things to give as Hanukkah gifts for my Hanukkah dinner next week. They need to be sort of the same and they ought to be blue.

I’ve done hats, scarves, socks, and mittens, not always the same and not always blue.

One year I did little tiny Buddhas, don’t ask me why. They were adorable though and made people happy.

I’ve done little strings of lights and big chocolate bars. One year I bought matching mugs (red, not blue) with bears on them, a purchase driven solely by the fact that there were a lot of those mugs available.

So right now I’m thinking about little wee clocks. You know, an actual clock with hands that glow in the dark so you always know what time it is without picking up your phone and getting all engaged in middle of the night internet junk and travail.

And if they were blue, who could beat that?
