What happens here on Red's Wrap is all over the map. There is no single theme, no overarching gripe, no malady of my own or others that dominates. I write about what seems important or interesting at the moment and what aims me toward hope. I write stories, essays, poems - whatever fits the day and the mood. Nothing stays the same, here or anywhere. That's a good thing. Happiness. It's relative.

Jan, as I have had three terminal illnesses in the past 17 years that’s a question lots of people ask me all the time. I always just look at them as if they are mad. The honest answer is I believe my prayers are heard and I’m incredibly lucky. The fun bit is the expression on my drs faces when they don’t know why I’m still alive but can’t accept my answer. Now that really makes me happy! I think God must be giving me an early purgatory or else he wants me to finish my latest detective story because he wants to know who did it. Ciao. Anton
Yes. You strike me as a very resilient person. A very tough customer. Not surprised that three terminal illnesses have been overcome by your determination.
Yes, it would make me pause if someone asked that question! My answer might be “Most of the time.”
