Two a Day #19: Home Field

Some people remember everything about their lives. And even more about their children. I’m not that way. Much of my life is a blur. That’s not an age thing, I’ve always been that way. If ever someone lived in the moment, it’s me.

But there a few moments that I remember very well. One of them is this day, one of the finest days of my life. It comes as no surprise that my husband played a central role in its fineness.

Our family had gone to Nicaragua. It was the first time that our three Nicaraguan children had been back since their adoption. Read about it here in Home Field.
