Happiness. It's relative.
What it takes to satisfy each person is a secret she hides behind a wink and shares with no one lest it be thought too small and insignificant to make someone truly happy.
______________
Ah yes, it’s the second to last Trifecta Writing Challenge prompt, this one was to use the 3rd definition of satisfy: to make happy: please.
Such an interesting take on the prompt. I really enjoyed reading this. It’s got me thinking about the catalogue of things I know that make people happy. Thanks for linking up.
So true and loved how you said so much in such few words-wow!
This is insightful – and I adore the drawing you posted with it 🙂
She is sly indeed. To have the ability to not only know how to make other people happy but to go out and execute that action is . . . if I dare say it . . . a power. Maybe even a superhero-worthy power! Hence, she has power in what could be perceived as a softness of character. As a fellow feminist (not sure if I qualify as “good” though), I love the wry nature of this, and how it ripples out on many waves and back again: writer-protagonist-characters off stage-reader-writer . . . and so on.
Hhhmmm So now I know where to look… lol Such a sweet, yet cheeky post. < 3
Interesting. Small or not the insight to the happiness of others is a treasure beyond compare.
Nicely done.
What an interesting insight, and how true. It’s hard to believe that it’s the small things that can make us happy, sometimes. (I would never frown at a grand gesture, though.)
Nice drawing.
