What a poignant piece. Very lovely writing.
What beautiful writing-am sure this beast can never devour your words:-)
Wonderful use of action in this piece. I felt myself pulled along through the journey with the beast.

So descriptive and astute. Well done, Jan.
I loved your descriptions in this. Very good.

Wow, how powerful. You are a very talented writer.
What a wretched beast! But you describe hearing loss in a beautiful way.
I really feel your beast in this entry.
